Amy Schumer is a comedian that we all know and love and she’s making light of a really crappy situation right now. Schumer, who confirmed that she was pregnant with her first child this year, is currently joking about her pregnancy glow as she’s hooked up to an IV.
Schumer, who is currently in her second trimester, continues to battle severe morning sickness, according to Entertainment Tonight. She’s currently expecting her first child with husband, chef Chris Fischer.
Even though she appears to be at home, it sounds like she’s having a rough pregnancy.
It was only a month ago that CNN reported that Amy Schumer had been in the hospital over complications. She is suffering from hyperemesis gravidarum, severe nausea, and vomiting. Unfortunately, some women do experience this much worse than others.
Hyperemesis gravidarum is a pregnancy complication is that characterized by severe nausea, vomiting, weight loss, and possibly dehydration. Women who suffer from this will often vomit several times a day over a longer period of time.
“I’m fine. Baby’s fine but everyone who says the 2nd trimester is better is not telling the full story. I’ve been even more ill this trimester. I have hyperemesis and it blows,” Amy revealed on Instagram.
Schumer is back on the road and she appears determined to continue her performances despite her medical condition. Her doctors did force her to cancel some shows, but she appears to be on the path to recovery.
Amy Schumer hasn’t revealed when the baby is due, but given she’s in her second trimester, we can expect a Schumer baby to arrive in the spring of 2019. The 37-year-old actress hasn’t shared any plans in regards to the baby, including pictures of the little one. But since this is her first child, one can imagine she will be protective.
And we don’t blame her.
